Cortland Repertory Theatre closes their 43rd annual summer season of quality live theatre with the foot-stoppin', hand-clappin' musical revue "Ring of Fire: The Music of Johnny Cash", which was created by Richard Maltby Jr., and conceived by William Meade. Performances will run for three weeks, from August 27 - September 13 with evening performances at 7:30. Matinees are available on August 29 and 31, and September 3, 7 and 10 at 2:00 PM. 'Oh Boy! To have our theatre rocking out to the songs of such greats as Buddy Holly, Richie Valens and the Big Bopper is going to be music to the ears of our audiences and subscribers this Summer,' offers Wood. 'We are overjoyed to be partnering with Steve Steiner and Boebe Productions again and know they are going to blow the roof off the Playhouse with this spectacular telling of one of the most enduring stories in rock & roll history,' adds Wareham. The concert will be held toight, May 2 and Saturday May 3 at 7:30 PM at 19 Church Street in Cortland, the former United Community Church. Seating is General Admission, and tickets are $30 per person. The concert is sponsored by The Overhead Door Company of Cortland and hosted by the CRT Board of Directors.
