Evolution Theatre Company to Present BARE, Begin. 9/10

On September 10, Evolution Theatre Company will bring to the stage the Columbus premiere of bare:A Pop Opera book by Jon Hartmere and Damon Intrabartolo, music by Damon Intrabartolo, lyrics by Jon Hartmere. Through its pulsating rock score and emotionally charged story, bare has thrilled and moved audiences around the world. A contemporary rock musical, bare follows a group of teens wrestling with issues of identity, sexuality, and religion at a co-ed Catholic boarding school. Provocative, raw, and unyielding in its exploration of how today's generation navigates the tightrope between adolescence and adulthood, bare examines the consequences of baring a soul-or hiding it from those who matter most.

Cyndi Lauper Performs at Silver Hill Hospital Gala Tonight

Tonight, November 20, 2013, Silver Hill Hospital will hold its fourth annual fall gala at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York City. This year's Gala will honor longtime supporter and Board Director, Peter Busch Orthwein, and his wife, Beverly, and CNBC anchor, Lawrence Kudlow. In addition, there will be a special performance Cyndi Lauper.

NBC Picks Up Workplace Comedy Pilot Starring Rob Lowe

According to Deadline, the network has given a put pilot commitment to THE PRO, which Lowe will star in and executive produce. FRASIER's Pete Huyck and Alex Gregory have signed on as showrunners, and will also write. Todd Holland will direct.

NBC Gives Series Order to Matthew Perry's GO ON

According to The Hollywood Reporter, NBC has given its first series order for the 2012 -13 season to Scott Silveri's comedy pilot GO ON. The series will star 'Friends' alum Matthew Perry as a sportscaster. Todd Holland will executive produce and direct the pilot.
