Based on the short story 'The Ugliest Pilgrim' by Doris Betts, Violet features music by Jeanine Tesori and book & lyrics by Brian Crawley. Violet will be produced in association with Amy Sherman-Palladino and Daniel Palladino, David Mirvish, Barry and Fran Weissler, Elizabeth Armstrong, and Mary Jo and Ted Shen.

I am happy to announce further casting for our upcoming production of Violet. Joshua Henryand Colin Donnell will join the previously announced Sutton Foster. Colin joined the Roundabout family starring opposite Sutton in our Tony Award-winning production of Anything Goes. And Joshua, who also played Flick in the Encores Off-Center Reading, was nominated for a Tony for his performance in The Scottsboro Boys.
