The Women's Forum of New York will present The 5th Annual Elly Awards Luncheon benefiting The Education Fund of the Women's Forum on Monday, June 22nd at The Plaza Hotel in New York City. The awards, named for the Women's Forum founder Elinor Guggenheimer, will honor outstanding women leaders.

Tina Brown, Diane von Furstenberg and Pamela Thomas-Graham celebrated Broadway director Stephen Daldry at Barbetta Restaurant (321 West 46th Street) today, May 28th. Daldry has just been nominated for a Tony Award for Best Direction in a Play for SKYLIGHT, starring Bill Nighy and Carey Mulligan. Vanity Fair is celebrating turning 100 - well kind of. The magazine was called Dress & Vanity Fair when it first launched in 1913 but was put to sleep 20 years later. It stayed dead until 1983 when it was revived by S.I. Newhouse Jr., the chairman of Condé Nast. So tecnically speaking, the Vanity Fair we know today is 30 years old - but 100 sounds so much better! Arriving this week on newstands is Vanity Fair's centennial issue featuring Kate Upton, channeling Marilyn Monroe. The cover was shot by Annie Leibovitz.

Josiah Theatre Works will host a live studio taping of the award-nominated web TV drama, 'Unspoken', a story of love, envy betrayal, wealth, and the gripping realities of the fashion industry, written and directed by Nickolas Long, III.
