Previews are Wednesday, Nov. 21 at 7:30 a.m. and Friday, Nov. 23 at 8 p.m. Beginning November 24, The Christmas Miracle of Jonathan Toomey will run through December 23 Wednesdays at 10 a.m., Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 3 p.m. Ticket prices include free parking and range from $10 to $32. Directed by Timothy Gregory, THE FOREIGNER opens February 4 at 8 p.m. and runs through March 18. The Provision Theater Company opened their season last week with a revival of their 2004 production of Cotton Patch Gospel. The Cotton Patch Gospel is a reverent retelling of the Gospels of Matthew and John, set to Bluegrass music. Based on the book, The Cotton Patch Gospel of Matthew and John by Civil Rights Activist Clarence Jordan, this musical has music and lyrics by the late Folk Balladeer Harry Chapin with book by Tom Key and Russel Treyz. Lou Contey directs the current production in the Company's beautiful new home on West Roosevelt, running through November 8.

Provision Theater Company will open their 2009-10 season with a bigger and bolder version of their 2004 hit production of Harry Chapin?s Cotton Patch Gospel. The season will be the first produced in their brand new home, located at 1001 W. Roosevelt Road in Chicago. To celebrate the space, the theater company will host a gala reception, highlighted with a champagne toast, on Saturday, September 12; a date that also marks the official opening of the production which previews September 10 and runs through November 8. Lou Contey will direct the production.
