VIDEO: Stage Vet Lily Rabe in New Trailer for MISS STEVENS Indie Film

Stage favorite Lily Rabe stars in the upcoming independent film MISS STEVENS, directed by Julia Hart and co-written by Hart and Jordan Horowitz. The AMERICAN HORROR STORY alum takes on the title role in the comedy focused on a teacher who chaperones a group of high schoolers to a state drama competition. Check out the official trailer below!

Lily Rabe to Lead Independent Film MISS STEVENS

According to Deadline, stage favorite Lily Rabe has been tapped to lead the cast of the upcoming independent film MISS STEVENS, described as a 'coming-of-age/character and life study.' Julia Hart will direct the film, which she co-wrote alongside Jordan Horowitz.

Gerard Canonico, Lauren Holmes, et al. Lead THE TALLS at Second Stage, Opens 8/15

Second Stage Theatre continues its Uptown Series with the world premiere of The Talls, written by Anna Kerrigan and directed by Carolyn Cantor. Ms. Kerrigan's film Five Days Gone recently premiered at the Brooklyn Film Festival. The Talls will feature Gerard Canonico (Spring Awakening), Timothee Chalamet (Burning Blue), Shannon Esper (Cherry Orchard), Lauren Holmes, Michael Oberholtzer (Incident at Vichy & Raft of The Medusa), Peter Rini (Proposals) and Christa Scott-Reed (The Pitman Painters). Opening night is Monday, August 15th.
