On Friday, March 31, 2017, The League of Professional Theatre Women (LPTW), a not-for-profit organization committed to promoting visibility and increasing opportunities for women in the professional theatre, is pleased to recognize the talents of six outstanding women: Carol Hall, Linda Cho, Lilieana Blain-Cruz, Liesl Tommy, Jess Chayes and Emily Simoness.

Tony Award-nominated singer and actress Melissa Errico (who just finished an extended run in Irish Rep's critically acclaimed revival of Finian's Rainbow), has been added to the Transport Group's Benefit honoring Mary-Mitchell Campbell on Monday, February 6 at 6pm at The Times Center (242 West 41st Street).

Single performance-only tickets are now on sale for Transport Group's benefit, featuring performances from multiple-time Tony, Emmy, and Drama Desk Award nominees Kristin Chenoweth, Jonathan Groff, Titus Burgess, Debra Monk, Sierra Boggess and her sister, Summer Boggess, and Raul Esparza.

As we enter the new year, it is important to remember those we have lost in the preceding twelve months. From actors, to directors, to international pop stars, join us as BroadwayWorld remembers all the great men we lost in 2016.

Two-time Tony Award winners Patti LuPone and Christine Ebersole, returning to Broadway this spring in the acclaimed new musical War Paint, were featured guests at this week's New York Times 'War Paint Times Talk,' hosted at the Times Center. Gideon Productions is honored to receive the Donn Russell Fund grant from the New York Innovative Theatre Foundation. This grant money will be used to support their upcoming production of Universal Robots, which will be presented by The Sheen Center in June 2016.
