Andrew Lloyd Webber's STEPHEN WARD Cast Album Coming in March 2014

Stephen Ward, which has music byAndrew Lloyd Webber and book and lyrics by playwright Christopher Hampton and lyricist Don Black, previews at the Aldwych Theatre from 3 December 2013 with press night on 19 December 2013. The production, directed by Richard Eyre, is currently booking to 1 March 2014. The cast album is set to be released by Decca on March 3, 2014. Set and Costume designs are by Rob Howell, with lighting by Peter Mumford, sound by Paul Groothuis, projection design by Jon Driscoll and choreography by Stephen Mear. Charlotte Spencer, Alexander Hanson & Charlotte Blackledge to Lead Andrew Lloyd Webber's New Musical STEPHEN WARD

The cast for the World Premiere of Stephen Ward, directed by Richard Eyre, will comprise Alexander Hanson as Stephen Ward, Charlotte Spencer as Christine Keeler, Charlotte Blackledge as Mandy Rice Davies, Anthony Calfas Lord Astor, Daniel Flynn as John Profumo, Joanna Riding as Valerie Hobson, Ian Conningham as Ivanov, Chris Howell as Murray, Ricardo Coke Thomas as Lucky Gordon and Wayne Robinson as Johnny Edgecomp. Other cast members are Martin Callaghan, Kate Coyston, Jason Denton, Julian Forsyth, Amy Griffiths, Paul Kemble, Emma Kate Nelson, Carl Sanderson, Emily Squibb, John Stacey, Helen Ternent and Tim Walton.

Morphic Graffiti Announces THE REVENGE OF SHERLOCK HOLMES Cast

Morphic Graffiti has announced that Tim Walton will be playing the title role in the forthcoming production of The Revenge of Sherlock Holmes! at the renowned Hoxton Hall. Tim is a leading West End actor with credits that include Matilda, Love Never Dies, Wicked and most recently Kiss Me Kate at the Old Vic.

Annette McLaughlin will join the company of Matilda as Mrs Wormwood from today, 21 August 2012. She will play alongside Haley Flaherty and Steve Furst, who have recently joined the Company as Miss Honey and Mr Wormwood. Josie Walker performed as Mrs Wormwood for the last time on Sunday 19 Augus

David Leonard Joins Cast of MATILDA from Today, July 3; Annette McLaughlin to Join Aug 21

David Leonard will take over the role of Miss Trunchbull from today, 3 July 2012 and Annette McLaughlin will join the company as Mrs Wormwood from Tuesday 21 August 2012. They will play alongside Haley Flaherty and Steve Furst who have recently joined the Company as Miss Honey and Mr Wormwood. Bertie Carvel's last performance as Miss Trunchbull took place on Sunday 1 July and Josie Walker will perform as Mrs Wormwood for the last time on Sunday 19 August.

West End's MATILDA to Open on Broadway Spring 2013?

The show transfered to London's West End and opened November 24 to tremendous critical acclaim. Today, Michael Riedel reports in the New York Post that the show is now aiming to open on Broadway in the Spring of 2013, produced by the RSC themselves and overseen by Andre Ptaszynski, who formerly ran Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Really Useful Group.

Rialto Chatter: Royal Shakespeare Company to Bring MATILDA to Broadway?

Following a sensational sell-out season at The Courtyard Theatre, the RSC's production of MATILDA THE MUSICAL transfered to London's West End and opened November 24 to tremendous critical acclaim, and according to Whatsonstage, plans will soon be made concerning bringing the new musical to Broadway. RSC artistic director Michael Boyd announced at a press conference last week that the Mailda team will travel to New York at the end of January to discuss future Broadway plans. Additionally the RSC will 'retain "absolute control" over the production.'

MATILDA Now Booking Through October 2012!

Following a triumphant opening at the Cambridge Theatre, the Royal Shakespeare Company's production of Roald Dahl's Matilda The Musical has extended its booking period. Tickets are now on sale up to, and including, 21 October 2012. The new stage musical, which has captured the imagination of young and old alike, transferred to the West End on Tuesday 25 October 2011.
