Four World Premieres, JUMPY, BETRAYAL and More Set for Melbourne Theatre Company's 2015 Season

MTC Artistic Director Brett Sheehy AO today announced another great season of theatrical storytelling -- a year of life in living colour -- at Melbourne Theatre Company in 2015. Featuring 11 mainstage plays, a family show, an education production, an independent theatre festival, a series of play readings, and productions touring regionally, interstate and internationally, 2015 is another energetic year at MTC .

THE WHITE ALBUM CONCERT Shows Announced for Canberra & Wollongong, July 13-26

With the original all star cast: CHRIS CHENEY, PHIL JAMIESON, JOSH PYKE & TIM ROGERS With seven shows around the country already announced and selling fast, two new cities have been added to the White Album Concert National Tour, with performances in Canberra on 22 July and in Wollongong on 23 July. The White Album Concerts feature four of Australia's greatest rock'n'roll showmen – Chris Cheney, The Living End, Phil Jamieson of Grinspoon, Tim Rogers from You Am I and ARIA award winner singer/songwriter Josh Pyke performing the entire album with an all-star 17 piece rock orchestra.

The Tony Award nominated musical Rags is coming to London for one night only with tickets from only £20. All proceeds from its performance will go to Centrepoint, the UK's leading charity for homeless young people. Rags ran for only a short while on Broadway in 1986 but developed a passionate following and will no doubt take London by storm.

Meanwhile, his lesbian speechwriter is striking until he legalizes gay marriage, and he's being stalked by an angry Native American lobbying for a casino. The Rock 'n Soul Medicine Show Comes to QPAC, 28 February

The Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC) presents The Rock 'n Soul Medicine Show, which brings together iconic Australian artists Tim Rogers (You Am I) and nine-piece soul/funk outfit The Bamboos for one night only on Thursday 28 February, 2013 in the Concert Hall.

Stars of TABOO and BULLY BOY Join Tim McArthur to Launch New Series of 'The Curtain Up Show' Today, Oct 5

After a successful first series earlier this year, The Curtain Up Show returns to London's arts radio station, Resonance 104.4fm, for a new 11 week run. Tim McArthur will be joined live in the studio at midday on Friday by Sam Buttery and Katie Kerr who are currently starring as Leigh Bowery and Big Sue in the Boy George musical, Taboo, at the Brixton Clubhouse. Tim will also be joined by Joshua Miles who is currently starring opposite Anthony Andrews in Bully Boy by Sandi Toksvig at the newly opened St. James Theatre.
