North Coast Repertory Theatre continues its highly successful Season 35 with the San Diego premiere of MARJORIE PRIME. 

The Actors' Gang today announced Lyrics From Lockdown, written and performed by Bryonn Bain and directed by Gina Belafonte. The groundbreaking multimedia production tells Bryonn Bain's true story of racial profiling and wrongful incarceration at the hands of New York City police and how this experience led to a transformative friendship with death row inmate Nanon Williams. Lyrics From Lockdown begins previews Thursday, January 26 and opens Saturday, February 4 at 8pm as part of The Actors' GangSeason of Justice. Pipeline Theatre Company has announced Beardo, with book and lyrics by Jason Craig (Beowulf - A Thousand Years of Baggage), music by Dave Malloy (Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812), and directed by Ellie Heyman (The Traveling Imaginary). Following its hugely successful launch last year Bill Kenwright's new production of The Shawshank Redemption embarks on a national tour for 2016 from tonight 30th August at Theatre Royal Windsor.

Inspired by the classic film and based on the novella by Stephen King, The Shawshank Redemption comes to Canterbury next month (September).

The Byrd Hoffman Water Mill Foundation celebrated its 23rd Annual Summer Benefit & Auction, a one-of-a-kind evening bringing together over 1,000 guests from the worlds of theater, art, performance, fashion, design, and society at The Watermill Center on Saturday, July 30. The event, entitled FADA: HOUSE OF MADNESS, featured new works by Watermill's International Summer Program participants that came from over 25 countries to create installations and performances throughout the eight and-a-half acre grounds. This year, The Watermill Center honored Madame Giancarla Berti.
