The Regent's Park Open Air Theatre Gershwin musical CRAZY FOR YOU will transfer to London's West End, opening at the Novello Theatre on Friday 7 October.

LEND ME A TENOR THE MUSICAL, the new musical comedy by Peter Sham and Brad Carroll, based on Ken Ludwig's award-winning play, which opened at the Gielgud Theatre earlier this summer to some rave reviews, is to close. The production's last performance will be Saturday 6 August.

The cast of Lend Me A Tenor: The Musical were reportedly given their two weeks' notice tonight, meaning that the show will close on August 6th.

The production is designed by Paul Farnsworth, with lighting by Tim Mitchell, and sound by Terry Jardine and Nick Lidster. The Musical Supervisor is Tony Award Winner Paul Gemignani, the Musical Director is Colin Billing, and orchestrations are by Chris Walker.

Following the opening of Terence Rattigan's Flare Path, the Theatre Royal Haymarket Company today (1 April 2011) announce a further two productions to be directed by Trevor Nunn in his role as Artistic Director. After a three week run at the Chichester Festival Theatre, Nunn's production of Tom Stoppard's Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead comes to the Theatre Royal Haymarket in June, followed in September by William Shakespeare's The Tempest. The Knot of the Heart is designed by Peter McKintosh with lighting by Tim Mitchell and sound and music by Dan Jones.
