The 2010 Olivier Awards will take place on 21 March 2010 at the Grosvenor House Hotel, with Spring Awakening, Enron, Jerusalem and A Little Night Music among the standouts of the season with the most nominations. The Laurence Olivier Awards were established in 1976 as The Society of West End Theatre Awards, and Lord Olivier agreed to have his name associated with them in 1984. The Awards are run by The Society of London Theatre but are adjudicated by panels that are equally made up of members of the theatregoing public and experts chosen for their knowledge and professional experience. New Dates And Cast Announced For CALENDAR GIRLS UK National Tour

From Monday 3 May, the touring production of 'CALENDAR GIRLS' will star Elizabeth Bennett (‘Joyce Jowett' in 'Heartbeat' and was in the film of 'Calendar Girls') as ‘Marie', Anne Charleston (‘Madge' from 'Neighbours') as ‘Jessie - Miss January', Gemma Craven (‘Cinderella' in the film 'The Slipper and the Rose' and 'They're Playing Our Song' opposite Tom Conti in the West End) as ‘Chris - Miss October'

What's On Stage Awards Shortlist Announced

At a star-studded nominations party held today (4th December) at London's Café de Paris, the shortlist reveals that popular British screen stars, including Jude Law, Lenny Henry, Helen Mirren, Rachel Weisz, Alison Steadman, Dominic West, Mackenzie Crook and Patrick Stewart, will all battle it out for acting gongs.

Hannah Waterman Joins Cast Of CALENDAR GIRLS

Hannah Waterman, star of EastEnders and winner with Marti Pellow of BBC's Just The Two Of Us, will star as Miss July in CALENDAR GIRLS at the Noël Coward Theatre in the West End from Tuesday 1 December.

Current CALENDAR GIRLS Cast Finish Run On 31 October

The smash-hit show will continue with its current 'Calendar Girls' - The current cast have extended and will now remain with the production until Saturday, 31st October. CALENDAR GIRLS stars Gemma Atkinson, Jill Baker, June Brown (aka Dot Cotton), Sara Crowe, Anita Dobson, Jill Halfpenny, Jerry Hall and Jack Ryder.

Julie Goodyear Makes Stage Debut in West End's CALENDAR GIRLS

Julie Goodyear will make her London and legit stage debut in the smash-hit West End play 'CALENDAR GIRLS' starring as ‘Cora - Miss July'. A household name, Julie became a national treasure after starring as ‘Bet Lynch' in 'Coronation Street' for 25 years. Kelly Brook will bare all as ‘Celia - Miss September'. Janie Dee, triple ‘Best Actress' award-winner for Alan Ayckbourn's 'Comic Potential', will play ‘Annie - Miss February'. Helen Lederer, one of Britian's best-known comediennes, will play ‘Marie', leader of the Yorkshire branch of the WI. Debbie Chazen, best-known as a regular in 'Doctor Who' and as the star of 'TittyTittyBangBang' on BBC3, will play ‘Ruth'. Arabella Weir, star of 'The Fast Show' and author of international best-seller 'Does My Bum Look Big in This?', will play ‘Chris - Miss October'. Jan Leeming will play ‘Lady Cravenshire'. Rob James Collier, multi award-winner for ‘Sexiest Male' as ‘Liam Connor' in 'Coronation Street', will make his London stage debut as the photographer ‘Lawrence'.
