pluck. productions in association with Park Theatre present the world premiere of Alkaline by Stephanie Martin, which is set to be performed at Park Theatre from 10th July - 4th August 2018. Alkaline is a play about faith, friendship and fear, but at its heart a story about female friendship, shining a light on painful endings and new beginnings. The play also explores ideas surrounding British identity and who chooses to define it, questioning whether we dare to be different in today's society. Alkaline follows pluck. productions' most recent production, Birthday Suit, which played to critical acclaim and was nominated for three Off West-End Awards.

Continuing with their practice of performing more than 120 dates last year, THE INFAMOUS STRINGDUSTERS can't get enough of playing out on the road and are announcing a new string of Fall 2018 headlining tour dates. The GRAMMY-winning bluegrass mavericks will travel across the U.S., making stops in Atlanta, St. Louis, Milwaukee, Asheville, as well as a New York City show at The Gramercy Theatreon November 15. Curve has announced the casting for its world-premiere Made at Curve production of Memoirs of an Asian Football Casual, running in Leicester from 26th September - 6th October 2018. The production is adapted for the stage by Curve Associate Artist, Dougal Irvine from the 2012 book by Riaz Khan. The gritty drama will be directed by Curve's Artistic Director, Nikolai Foster.

Corkscrew Theater Festival presents Field, Awakening, written by Melis Aker and directed by Tatiana Pandiani. Running July 14-22, Field, Awakening is a political drama set in Turkey in 2016, where a group of high school friends reunites at a soccer field on the evening of an attempted military coup. As the night progresses, the friends unexpectedly find themselves at the center of international strife, and they begin to realize that the Turkey they called home may be rapidly disappearing. Performed by Kieron Anthony, Ayse Babahan, Jamar Brathwaite, Sinan Eczacibasi*, Fahim Hamid*, and Nazli Sarpkaya, Field, Awakening is the second production in the second annual season of Corkscrew Theater Festival, a new summer theater festival that provides early-career artists with a high level of production support.
