Thommie Retter and Stage Door Designs have joined forces to produce and present THIS WAY TO BROADWAY, A Concert Featuring Today's Talented Youth. Their first event will be held at the 777 Theatre in New York City on Monday the 13th of May at 7pm. This concert will feature vocal and dance performances by talented kids representing 10 different states. This group of 'ready for prime-time' professional and aspiring kids include many with professional credits: Broadway, Off-Broadway, Television, National Tours and more! We are thrilled to announce that TONY Award Winning actor Trent Kowalik from Broadway's Billy Elliot the Musical will be on hand to deliver a spectacular performance.

Camp Broadway is hosting Broadway-loving kids from around the country at its annual Tony Award celebration. Special guests include 2009 Tony Award-winning 'Billy' Trent Kowalik and his Billy Elliott cast members Thommie Retter and Tessa Netting on Sunday, June 13 at Bond 45 Restaurant. Dressed in their gowns and tuxedos, Broadway's youngest fans, ages 10-17, will gather at 4:00pm for a pre-show mocktail party and dinner prior to attending the Tony Awards presentation at Radio City Music Hall. In the past, A Class Act NY has brought their award-winning programs to the JCC. Most recently they conducted a Billy Elliot Workshop with Thommie Retter, a star from the show as well as a Legally Blonde Workshop with Bailey Hanks, who won the MTV Reality Series, The Search For the Next Elle Woods.

A Class Act NY's latest workshop was star studded with Billy Elliot's Thommie Retter (Mr. Braithwaite) and Trevor Braun (Michael), who taught the students the Billy Elliot finale.
A Class Act NY, the award-winning acting studio for kids and teens, hosted a one-day Billy Elliot Workshop on Nov. 1st with stars Trevor Braun (Michael) and Thommie Retter (Mr. Braithwaite.) Kids worked on scenes, songs, and a dance combo from Billy Elliot as well as proper audition technique. Manager, Aaron Anderson of Kanner Entertainment also came in to observe class and conduct a mock audition.
A Class Act NY, the award-winning acting studio for kids and teens has recently wrapped their widely popular one-week Broadway camp programs. Campers, ages six through 16, came from all over the globe to participate in the camps including London, England, Ohio, Missouri and Pennsylvania.
