Actor Jamie Bell, the award winning actor who created the role of Billy Elliot in the film version can currently be seen on the big screen in 'Defiance', he spoke to People magazine about working on that film as well as his performance in Billy Elliot. On dealing with fame and an Oscar nomination at age 13, he explained, 'I had my mom. The day I got back from the Oscars, she said, 'Great. Now take out the trash.' Bell, now 22, also explains that the other kids at school would, 'Chase me around school, I didn't know of they wanted to beat me up or congratulate me.'

Bill Kenwright and Marla Rubin announce that they will present the Almeida Theatre production of FESTEN, the hugely successful London play about a family with a dark secret, on Broadway at the Music Box Theatre (239 W. 45th St.), with performances beginning Thursday, March 23. Larry Bryggman, Michael Hayden, Ali MacGraw and Julianna Margulies have been cast in the Broadway production. Directed by Rufus Norris, in a dramatization by David Eldridge from the Danish 1998 film, FESTEN will have its official press opening on Sunday, April 9.
The nominations were announced today for the 2005 Olivier Awards, London's most prestigious theatre awards. The award ceremony will take place on February 20, 2005 in the UK.
