Kristin Scott Thomas, Douglas Henshall & Ben Miles to Star in Pinter's Betrayal

Tickets go on sale today (5 April 2011) for Ian Rickson's new production of Harold Pinter's Betrayal starring Kristin Scott Thomas, Douglas Henshall and Ben Miles. Betrayal, produced by Sonia Friedman Productions, will have its first preview at the Comedy Theatre on 27 May 2011 with press night on 16 June and is booking until 20 August 2011.

JERUSALEM Begins Previews Tomorrow!

JERUSALEM, the critically acclaimed and multi-award winning play by Jez Butterworth and starring Tony and Olivier Award-winner Mark Rylance (Boeing-Boeing, La Bête), begins previews tomorrow night, April 2, at the Music Box Theatre (239 West 45th Street). The production, directed by Ian Rickson, opens Thursday, April 21 and will play a limited 16-week engagement.

Starz Sells Quarter Equity Stake To Weinstein Company

In a significant strategic partnership within the ever-changing home/digital entertainment market, Starz, LLC has agreed to sell The Weinstein Company (TWC) a 25% stake in Starz Media, LLC, a programming production, home entertainment and international TV distribution company which includes Anchor Bay Entertainment and other TV/home entertainment assets. Separately, Anchor Bay has entered into a multi-year domestic distribution agreement for new theatrical content from TWC and its Dimension Films label.

'Nikki Heat' - Castle's novel 'Heat Wave' is being turned into a movie, and the Hollywood hottie cast as the movie's lead shows up at Beckett's invitation to better understand the character she's going to play. Laura Prepon ('October Road,' 'That '70s Show') guest stars as actress Natalie Rhodes. As our threesome investigates the murder of a high-class matchmaker, Natalie goes to extremes in the name of 'character research,' transforming herself into the spitting image of Beckett -- much to Castle's delight and Beckett's dismay. Also in the episode, Melody Thomas Scott ('Young & the Restless') and Thomas Calabro ('Melrose Place') guest star, on 'Castle,' MONDAY, JANUARY 3 (10:01-11:00 p.m. ET).

Tony and Olivier Award winning star Mark Rylance (La Bête, Boeing-Boeing) will recreate his wildly acclaimed, multi award-winning performance as Johnny ‘Rooster' Byron on Broadway in the Royal Court Theatre production of Jez Butterworth's universally heralded new play, JERUSALEM. The production, directed by Ian Rickson, will also star Mackenzie Crook (The Seagull, 'The Office') as Ginger and most of the original Royal Court cast, with full casting to be announced at a later date. JERUSALEM will open on Broadway on April 21, 2011 at the Music Box Theatre (239 West 45th Street). Previews will begin on April 2, 2011. The production will play a limited 16-week engagement.

The Paley Center for Media will celebrate the life and work of John Lennon starting this October, with panel discussions, screenings, a musical tribute performance, and a photo exhibit that will give Lennon fans never-before-seen insight into his life both before and after the Beatles. To coincide with the week of Lennon's birthday on October 9, our Lennon salute will include major previews of Nowhere Boy and LENNONYC, a performance by the Quarreymen, and special screenings of Imagine and The U.S. vs. John Lennon for John Lennon's actual birthday on Saturday, October 9.
