National Theatre of Scotland Sets Edinburgh Festivals Lineups

The National Theatre of Scotland is celebrating 10 years of presenting acclaimed theatre at the Edinburgh Festivals. This year the Company brings the world premiere of ANYTHING THAT GIVES OFF LIGHT in a co-production with the Edinburgh International Festival and the TEAM, and two acclaimed music filled dramas about refugees and migration to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, as part of the Made in Scotland Showcase, both at the Assembly Hall; GLASGOW GIRLS, in a co-production with Pachamama Productions, Regular Music and Theatre Royal Stratford East, and LAST DREAM (ON EARTH), presented by Kai Fischer.

Royal Court Theatre Announces 60th Season - Six World Premieres, Five UK Productions and More!

·         In 2016 the Royal Court Theatre celebrates its 60th birthday by looking towards the future. The new season includes six world premieres, five UK and worldwide collaborations, one European premiere, a major collaboration with LIFT, a partnership with Picturehouse Cinemas, the return of Open Court and ongoing work in Tottenham and Pimlico.

Bill Camp, Jim Norton, Tavi Gevinson and More Join Broadway's THE CRUCIBLE; Full Cast, Theater Set!

BroadwayWorld has just learned that Arthur Miller's THE CRUCIBLE will return to Broadway at the Walter Kerr Theatre (219 West 48th Street) this spring. Bill Camp (as Reverend John Hale), Jim Norton (as Giles Corey), Tavi Gevinson (as Mary Warren), and Jason Butler Harner (as Reverend Samuel Parris) are among those who will join previously announced stars Ben Whishaw (as John Proctor), Sophie Okonedo (as Elizabeth Proctor), Saoirse Ronan (as Abigail Williams), and Ciaran Hinds (as Deputy-Governor Danforth).

Theatre Raymond Kabbaz (TRK) presents the Los Angeles premiere of Le Moche (The Ugly One), a satirical comedy that explores society's fixation on physical beauty, on Thursday, May 28 and Friday, May 29, 2015. Written by Marius von Mayenburg and performed by members of La Troupe du Theatre Raymond Kabbaz, the exhilarating Le Moche follows talented engineer Lette who struggles for recognition, thwarted by an ugly face. Admission is $15 for adults, $10 for students, and tickets are available here. The play runs for 75 minutes with no intermission. Performances start at 7:30pm and are in French without subtitles. Danny Elfman, Druid Theatre, National Ballet of China, Cleveland Orchestra and More Set for Lincoln Center Festival 2015

Nigel Redden, Director of Lincoln Center Festival, today announced the line-up for the 20th edition of the Festival, which runs from July 6 through August 2, 2015. The Festival will unfold in six venues on and off the Lincoln Center campus. There will be a total of 58 performances by artists and ensembles from Germany, China, England, Ireland, Russia, USA, and Japan.
