According to The Hollywood Reporter, the big screen adaptation of ANNIE will now be released a week earlier, December 19th, to avoid the Christmas Day rush.

Theatre Venues and Unique Features have announced that individual tickets for ELF go on-sale this Friday, Sept. 27, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. ELF will play the Cadillac Palace Theatre (151 W Randolph) for a limited three-week engagement Nov. 26 - Dec. 15, 2013.

Young People's Theatre presents Louise Pitre as Miss Hannigan and Sterling Jarvis as Oliver Warbucks in its fall production of Annie (TYA), along with Jenny Weisz in the title role. Directed by Allen MacInnis, the iconic musical will be presented on the Mainstage from November 11 to December 19, opening on Thursday, November 14.

BroadwayWorld has confirmed that, Kirsten Wyatt will take over for J. Elaine Marcos as 'Lily St. Regis' in ANNIE on Broadway. Marcos will play her final performance on September 29, and Wyatt will join the cast October 1.

The producers of ANNIE announced this evening that the show will play its final performance on Broadway on Sunday, January 5, 2014. Upon closing, the production, which opened on November 8, 2012 at the Palace Theatre (Broadway at 47th Street), will have played 487 performances and 38 previews.

The current production, directed by Dan Dunn, is easily the playhouse's best show this season.
