Broadway's HAMILTON Gets Its Own Category on JEOPARDY! Tonight

From the stage, to the top of the charts -- and now on to TV game shows, Broadway's $10 Founding Father is unstoppable! Lin-Manuel Miranda, creator and star of Hamilton, will appear on tonight's (December 9) episode of JEOPARDY! to deliver five clues in a Hamilton-themed category on the game show.

Tony Award nominee Andrew Rannells (THE BOOK OF MORMON) ended his reign as 'King George III' on November 29 in Hamilton on Broadway at the Richard Rodgers Theatre (226 W. 46 St). And now Tony Award nominee Jonathan Groff -- who joined the cast last spring at The Public Theater -- returns to the role tonight, December 1, after one month of leave to film HBO's LOOKING movie.

The 'Rannells' pamphlet! In late October, Andrew Rannells officially took the throne as King George III on Broadway in HAMILTON. Rannells will abscond the throne after today, making way for Jonathan Groff- who originated the role on Broadway- to rise up and take over the kingship on December 1.
