Even though Rydell High's easily excitable and enthusiastic head cheerleader, Patty Simcox, might not be the coolest kid in school, Elle McLemore, the equally as excited and enthusiastic actress who plays her in the upcoming GREASE LIVE!, is as sweet and likeable as can be. Most theatre fans know McLemore for playing less than loveable cheerleaders, first as the Machiavellian Eva in BRING IT ON: THE MUSICAL, and then as the dim-witted Heather McNamara in HEATHERS THE MUSICAL. Despite some of her character's worst traits, McLemore is always disarmingly sweet and infectiously charming.

As BroadwayWorld reported yesterday, PBS has confirmed that it will air Hamilton'S AMERICA, a feature film documentary providing intimate access to Lin-Manuel Miranda and his colleagues during the two years leading up to the Broadway opening of the musical Hamilton. At today's TCA press tour, PBS President and CEO Paula Kerger announced that it will air Hamilton'S AMERICA, a feature film documentary providing intimate access to Lin-Manuel Miranda and his colleagues during the two years leading up to the Broadway opening of the musical Hamilton.

Aspiring storyboard artist and HAMILTON superfan Megan Lloyd recently made a storyboard for a film version of 'The World Was Wide Enough,' the final duel song from the show. The viral video has already reached Lin-Manuel Miranda, and the HAMILTON star/creator has tweeted his approval, 'Let's get this gal in front of a crowd!'
