As BroadwayWrld previously reported, Sir Cameron Mackintosh (producer of OLIVER!, LES MISERABLES, PHANTOM, MARY POPPINS, MISS SAIGON and CATS) plans to bring Broadway's box-office blockbuster HAMILTON to the West End in 2017. Now the Daily Mail now writes that Mackintosh is eyeing the Victoria Palace Theatre, where BILLY ELLIOT will give its final performance on April 9.

Following the performance, star Lin-Manuel Miranda donned an iconic T-Bird leather jacket, making him an honorary member of the gang!
