TheatreWorks Silicon Valley brings an enchanted bestseller to life for the holidays with the regional premiere of Tuck Everlasting. Set in the 1890s, free-spirited Winnie Foster searches for adventure, finding the Tucks, a close-knit family that has discovered the secret to everlasting life.

Orlando Shakes in partnership with UCF's production of A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens and adapted by Jim Helsinger runs from November 28 - December 30, 2018. Nancy Manocherian's the cell (Artistic Director, Kira Simring), who produced last season's critically acclaimed World Premiere musical Bastard Jones, presents the New York Premiere of THE EVOLUTION OF MANN, a musical featuring music & lyrics by Drama Desk nominee Douglas J. Cohen (Children's Letters to God, The Opposite of Sex) and book & lyrics by Dan Elish (13: The Musical) based on his novel, Nine Wives.  Directed by Joe Barros (Bastard Jones), the production stars Max Crumm (Grease, Disaster!) in the title role, with Allie Trimm (13: The Musical and Bye Bye Birdie on Broadway) and Leslie Hiatt. Now in previews, opening is slated for Today, October 4.

TheatreWorks Silicon Valley continues its 2018/ 2019 season with Fun Home, the Tony Award-winning Best Musical. Based on the blazingly honest graphic novel of MacArthur Genius Award winner Alison Bechdel, Fun Home explores Alison's loving, yet dysfunctional upbringing. Alison, the protagonist, contends with her past and present as she relives her childhood at the family-owned funeral home. Her growing understanding of her own sexuality and her grappling with unanswerable questions about her father make for a surprising, poignant theatrical experience. Told with enormous emotion and sensitivity, Fun Home's haunting yet amusing score by Jeanine Tesori with lyrics and book by Lisa Kron illuminates one of the most original musicals of its time. Directed by TheatreWorks Founding Artistic Director Robert Kelley.

After a critically acclaimed Off-Broadway run at the Lucille Lortel Theatre, three Drama Desk Award nominations, and a National Tour announcement of January 2019, The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical will offer fans the opportunity to play along with their favorite songs from Camp Half-Blood in the upcoming vocal selection book to be released from Hal Leonard, the world's largest publisher of music performance and instructional materials.

Theatre Bay Area, the third-largest regional theatre service organization in North America, announced the finalists for the 2018 TBA Awards. The fifth annual TBA Awards Celebration will be held on Monday, Nov. 5 at the Herbst Theatre (401 Van Ness Avenue, San Francisco). Tickets for the public go on sale Friday, September 28, 2018, through City Box Office.

Most of the MARTIANS text is taken from Ray's own words from interviews and books he's written on the art of writing, as well as adaptations of his Martian stories The Strawberry Window, The Blue Bottle, The Messiah and Night Call, Collect. Adapted with and directed by Jeff G. Rack, Mount personifies Bradbury to a tee as, acting as our guide to mankind's next great adventure to the planet Mars, allowing us to get to know the mind and heart of the great writer who believes that humanity can only survive by carrying our culture out into the Universe. In fact, one of Bradbury's favorite films was Steven Spielberg's Close Encounters of the Third Kind. 'Going to the stars, taking your culture with you, and living forever! That's what it's all about!' Bradbury said. That's the theme explored in MARTIANS: AN EVENING WITH RAY BRADBURY.

This holiday season, the "musically thrilling," award-winning, undie-rock, comedy-pop duo The Skivvies-featuringLauren Molina and Nick Cearley-bring their holiday show, I Touch My Elf, to Feinstein's at the Nikko for one performance only - Thursday, December 13 at 8 p.m.

Starting October 7, Artists Repertory Theatre presents Bess Wohl's Small Mouth Sounds, directed by Shawn Lee. Artists Rep's 2016/17 season featured Wohl's American Hero, which was also directed by Lee. Small Mouth Sounds runs from October 7 through November 4 on the Alder Stage.

Off-Center, the most unconventional line of programming at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts (DCPA) is proud to announce full casting for Bite-Size, an evening of original, short plays and performance pieces by Colorado artists, performed off-site at BookBar and directed by Meridith C.
