Broadway By the Bay (BBBay), the Peninsula's premiere musical theatre company, is proud to welcome Tony Award-winning composer and lyricist Jason Robert Brown for a one-day only master class and concert on Saturday, July 24th.

Saks, Executive Director of the Ellen Stone Belic Institute, and About Face Theatre Artistic Director, Bonnie Metzgar, announce the world premiere of a new one-person play, SWEET TEA: Black Gay Men of the South, written and performed by E. Patrick Johnson, and directed by award-winning artist Daniel Alexander Jones.

About Face Theatre Board President Bill Michel today announced the appointment of Jason Held as AFT's new Executive Director. Held brings his experience as a lawyer, political fundraiser and advocate for LGBTQ youth to AFT, most recently working for the Illinois Safe Schools Alliance.

BROADWAY BY THE BAY (BBBay), the Peninsula's premiere musical theatre company, continues its 45th season with a production of the classic Broadway musical ANNIE, running Thursday, July 15 through Sunday, August 1 at the San Mateo Performing Arts Center (600 N. Delaware Ave., San Mateo). Press night is scheduled for Friday, July 16, 2010.

Hometown, this Summer's celebratory season of work at the Royal & Derngate (7 June to 17 July) re-imagines the past and future of Northampton and explores the complex, changeable and often emotional responses we have towards the place we were born in or where we put down our roots.

The Palace Theatre is proud to announce the 6th Annual Kitchen Tour presented by Granite State Cabinetry and CABICO Custom Cabinetry and hosted by Baron's Major Brands on Sunday, June 6, 2010. The press opening is Friday, February 12th at 7:30pm at the Center On Halsted. The cast for WHAT ONCE WE FELT includes Charin Alvarez, Laura Fisher, Patricia Kane, Elizabeth Laidlaw, Ana Sferruzza, and Rebecca Sohn.
