Producers Scott Morfee, Jean Doumanian and Tom Wirtshafter, who presented the critically acclaimed landmark production of Thornton Wilder's Our Town, will next present the New York premiere of the new comedy, Mistakes Were Made, by Craig Wright with direction by Dexter Bullard. The two-character play features Academy Award-nominee Michael Shannon as producer Felix Artifex and Mierka Girten as his assistant Esther, and reunites the creative team of the Off-Broadway smash hit Bug (Bullard, Shannon and Barrow Street). The 16- week limited engagement will begin performances Friday, November 5, 2010 at the Barrow Street Theatre. Opening night is set for Sunday evening, November 14, 2010 at 7:00 p.m.

Tony Award-winning librettist Arthur Laurents' Broadway direction will be recreated for the tour by David Saint, the Associate Director on Broadway. The original Jerome Robbins choreography is reproduced by Tony Award-nominee Joey McKneely (The Boy from Oz, The Life).
HAIR: The American Tribal Love-Rock Musical, will play the San Diego Civic Theatre for a limited engagement, Tuesday October 18 through Sunday October 23, 2011; as a Broadway/San Diego ~ A Nederlander Presentation. On September 7, Ellen DeGeneres made an appearance in Broadway's PROMISES, PROMISES alongside Kristin Chenoweth and Sean Hayes. In the video below, DeGeneres visits backstage at the Broadway Theatre before her big debut. DeGeneres visited Chenoweth's dressing room where she met her dog, Maddie before being joined by Sean Hayes to practice breathing exercises with Hayes. DeGeneres then took the stage with the rest of the PROMISES, PROMISES cast to practice her singing.
