Kennedy Center HAIR Tix Go On Sale 8/11

Tickets for HAIR: The American Tribal Love-Rock Musical, will go on sale to the public on Wednesday, August 11, 2010. Hair will run in the Kennedy Center Opera House for a limited engagement October 26, 2010 through November 21, 2010. Directed by Diane Paulus and choreographed by Karole Armitage, Hair features book and lyrics by Gerome Ragni and James Rado and music by Galt MacDermot. Tickets can be purchased in person at the Kennedy Center Box Office, by calling Instant Charge at (202) 467-4600, or online at kennedy-center.org.

Michael McKean Returns to OUR TOWN 8/3-22

After a successful engagement earlier this summer, and by popular demand, producers Scott Morfee, Jean Doumanian and Tom Wirtshafter welcome back to Grover's Corner Academy Award-nominee Michael McKean who rejoins the cast of David Cromer's critically acclaimed record breaking production of Thornton Wilder's Our Town for three-weeks in the role of ‘The Stage Manager,' August 3rd through August 22nd at the Barrow Street Theatre (27 Barrow Street).

OUR TOWN to Close 9/12, McKean & Cromer Return

2nd Stage's TRUST Begins Previews, 7/23

Second Stage Theatre (Carole Rothman, Artistic Director) has announced that Zach Braff, Bobby Cannavale, Sutton Foster, and Ari Graynor will co-star in the world premiere comedy TRUST, written by Paul Weitz, directed by Peter DuBois. Mr. Weitz returns to Second Stage Theatre, where his plays Privilege and Show People premiered in 2005 and 2006, respectively. Directed by Peter DuBois, who staged Second Stage's acclaimed production of Becky Shaw, TRUST will begin previews on Friday, July 23 at Second Stage Theatre (305 West 43rd street) and officially open on Thursday, August 12. The production runs through September 5.

RACE on Track to End Broadway Run, 8/21

RACE, 'the topical detective story' (New York Times) that 'sizzles with energy' (The Wall Street Journal), written and directed by David Mamet is now playing its final weeks on Broadway at the Barrymore Theatre (243 West 47th St.). This new cast is playing their limited run through Saturday, August 21st at 8:00 pm (reaching its 297th performance). HAIR Shines In To San Diego's Civic Center, 10/18-23

HAIR: The American Tribal Love-Rock Musical, will play the San Diego Civic Theatre for a limited engagement, Tuesday October 18 through Sunday October 23, 2011; as a Broadway/San Diego ~ A Nederlander Presentation. Lifetime Announces Season Contestants for 'Project Runway'

Let the sewing, stitching and snickering begin! The Emmy(R) Award nominated series, Project Runway, kicks off its eighth season with 17 talented designers - the most in series history - beginning Thursday, July 29, at 9pm ET/PT on Lifetime Television. In the show's expanded 90-minute format, the new crop of designers will encounter host Heidi Klum, mentor Tim Gunn and judges Michael Kors and Nina Garcia and top-name guest designer and celebrity judges, including actress Selma Blair for the premiere episode, as they face inventive challenges, unexpected eliminations and other surprises along the way. Filmed on location in New York, each episode of the eighth season will feature more couture creations and fashion flubs as the designers attempt to make the cut to show at New York Fashion Week at Lincoln Center. Project Runway is in High-Definition where available.

Seth Meyers Hosts the ESPY Awards on ESPN, 7/14

ESPN announces the sponsor roster for the 18th annual ESPY Awards presented by Capital One and Castrol EDGE. The ESPYs will be hosted by 'Saturday Night Live's' 'Weekend Update' anchor Seth Meyers. Meyers will be joined by an all-star lineup of top athletes and entertainers to celebrate the best sports stories of the past 12 months, leading fans through the year's best plays, biggest upsets and most outstanding performances across all sports. The 2010 ESPYs will be televised live, for the first time since 2003, Wednesday, July 14, at 9 p.m. ET on ESPN/ESPNHD from Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE in Los Angeles.
