Ghostlight Records will release the original cast recording of the world premiere musical FIRST DAUGHTER SUITE, written by Michael John LaChiusa and directed by Kirsten Sanderson.

The Old Globe today announced the complete cast and creative team for the West Coast premiere of THE METROMANIACS by supremely clever playwright David Ives (All in the Timing, Time Flies). This uproarious new 'translaptation' of a classic French farce, Alexis Piron's La Metromanie, will be directed by one of America's most renowned stage directors, Michael Kahn, presented in association with Shakespeare Theatre Company.

The Old Globe's world premiere of Anna Ziegler's THE LAST MATCH, directed by Gaye Taylor, stars real-life fiances Patrick J. Adams (Tim; SAG Award-nominated star of TV's 'Suits,' Garland Award for Bill Cain's play Nine Circles) and Troian Bellisario (Mallory; star of TV's 'Pretty Little Liars,' Equivocation and Farragut North at Geffen Playhouse) alongside Alex Mickiewicz (Sergei; Broadway's Therese Raquin) and Natalia Payne (Galina; New York premieres of Anna Ziegler's Novel, Edward Albee's Me, Myself & I,David Ives's New Jerusalem). Anthony Giardina's Off-Broadway smash hit THE CITY OF CONVERSATION, about a Georgetown political hostess, makes its Washington, D.C. debut at Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater beginning tonight, January 29. Following his direction of the 2014 world premiere at Lincoln Center Theater, Tony Award winner Doug Hughes returns to direct this political drama spanning three decades, from Carter's presidency through the Reagan era and ending with Obama's inauguration. THE CITY OF CONVERSATION runs through March 6, 2016 in the Fichandler Stage.

Yale Repertory Theatre presents the world premiere of THE MOORS by Jen Silverman, directed by Jackson Gay, beginning tonight, January 29, where it will run through February 20 at Yale Repertory Theatre (1120 Chapel Street). Opening Night is Thursday, February 4.

The Old Globe Theatre in San Diego will soon present a world-premiere production- Michael John LaChiusa's Rain. According to the San Diego Union-Tribune, Eden Espinosa will lead the production as 'Sadie.' Directed by Barry Edelstein, the show will run March 24 to May 1, 2016 at the Old Globe's Shiley Stage.

The box office officially opened today for the Broadway premiere of the new musical Bright Star from Grammy and Emmy winner Steve Martin and Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Edie Brickell, directed by Tony Award winner Walter Bobbie.
