Ballet Hispanico, recognized as the nation's leading Latino dance organization since 1970, will perform on the Kykuit Tennis Lawn at The Pocantico Center, 200 Lake Road, Pocantico Hills, NY, on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at 6:30pm.

Northrop at the University of Minnesota announces single tickets go on-sale today, August 5 for its 2013-14 Northrop Season, which features world-class dance, including copresentations with The O'Shaughnessy at St. Catherine University's Women of Substance and Walker Art Center. Single tickets will be sold through each venue. Series packages continue to be on sale through Northrop.

Randy James' all male dance company, 10 Hairy Legs, will perform Just Suits at Crossroads Theatre, 7 Livingston Avenue, New Brunswick on August 24 at 5:00 pm as part of Hub City Sound's 2013 month long festival of music and dance. Admission is free.

Dynamic contemporary dance company BODYTRAFFIC makes its Jacob's Pillow debut today, July 31- August 4 in the Doris Duke Theatre.

The Grammy award-winning Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra (ALJO), led by pianist, composer, and director Arturo O'Farrill, brings together the drama of big band jazz, the culture of Latin music, and the virtuosity of eighteen of the world's most accomplished solo musicians. According to The New Yorker 'Arturo O'Farrill's Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra is one of the best jazz orchestras in existence, a powerhouse outfit whose precise section work is enhanced by thrilling soloists.'

New York City Center is celebrating the 10th Anniversary of the Fall for Dance Festival with a very special season, beginning with two free evenings of dance at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park, hosted by The Public Theater, on September 16 and 17 (rain date, September 18). The Festival will continue at City Center from September 25 - October 5 with performances by 20 acclaimed dance companies and artists from around the world, including three new works from today's most exciting young choreographers, commissioned by New York City Center in celebration of the tenth anniversary.

Company C Contemporary Ballet founder and Artistic Director Charles Anderson has announced details of the Company's 2014 season of two programs plus a benefit gala in San Francisco and Walnut Creek with performances January 30 through May 11, 2014, at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts and ODC Theater in San Francisco and the Lesher Center for the Arts in Walnut Creek. The 12th season will feature a wide range of the kinds of ballets that have set the barre high for this 14-member Bay Area Company, which will return to New York for its third season there at the Joyce Theater August 9 and 10. Theatricality, precision technique, bravura performance, wit and a flair for the off-beat and innovative will be embodied in world premieres by Anderson, Susan Jaffe, Maurice Causey and Charles Moulton, as well as in the return of repertory favorites by Anderson, Patrick Corbin, Alexandre Proia, Charles Moulton and Yuri Zhukov. Juilliard Dance, under the direction of Lawrence Rhodes, opens its 2013-2014 season with New Dances PLUS: Edition 2013, Wednesday, December 11 through Sunday, December 15, 2013 in Juilliard's Peter Jay Sharp Theater and features Juilliard alumna Pina Bausch's Wind von West (Wind from the West) performed by the Senior Class, plus three world premiere commissions created for each of the classes of Juilliard's Dance Division. Next season's innovative choreographers are Juilliard alumnus Takehiro Ueyama (1st Year Dancers); Brian Brooks (2nd Year Dancers); and Juilliard alumnus Darrell Grand Moultrie (3rd Year Dancers).

Dynamic contemporary dance company BODYTRAFFIC makes its Jacob's Pillow debut July 31- August 4 in the Doris Duke Theatre. Named among Dance Magazine's “25 to Watch” in 2013, the company's Pillow program consists of And at midnight the green bride floated through the village square…(2012) created by Israeli-American dancemaker Barak Marshall, Fragile Dwellings (2011) by Belgian-born choreographer Stijn Celis, and O2Joy (2012) by founder and artistic director of The Bakery, Richard Siegal.

BalletCollective (formerly Satellite Ballet) will make its Joyce Theater debut on August 14 and 15 as part of the Ballet 6.0 Festival, with the world premiere of The Impulse Wants Company, as well as a revised version of the company's Epistasis (2012), both choreographed by BalletCollective director Troy Schumacher.

Pacific Northwest Ballet opens its Box Office for 2013-2014 ticket sales on Monday, July 22. As is its tradition, PNB is offering aspecial money-saving deal to celebrate the company's 41st season: Pay no service fees on tickets purchased thru July 31. Thodos Dance Chicago will celebrate 13 years of dance creation with its annual New Dances performance series, today, July 19-21, 2013 at the Ruth Page Center for the Arts, 1016 N. Dearborn Street, Chicago. Performances are tonight and Saturday, July 19 and 20 at 7:30 pm, and Sunday, July 21 at 5 pm.

Repertory Dance Theatre has announced the addition of four new dancers for the upcoming 2013-2014 season. As the oldest, and most successful company of its kind, Repertory Dance Theatre (RDT) opens its 48th season with four new and talented faces. Justin Bass, Efren Corado, Ursula Perry, and Alyssa Thompson join the ranks of RDT company members, as almost 90 dancers have before.

These Pillow performances showcase multifaceted explorations of space and motion in four different works choreographed by Brooks including BIG CITY, I'm Going to Explode, DESCENT, and excerpts from MOTOR.
