LezCab to Return to The Duplex, 8/25

LezCab is a cabaret series featuring performances of musical theatre songs performed by, and written by and/or about queer women. This month's LezCab will include queer spins on Golden Age classics. It will be held Sunday, August 25th at 7pm at The Duplex located at 61 Christopher Street in the West Village.

This month's "Over the Rainbow" event will feature out and proud performers: Julia Osen Averill, Joanna Burns, Elizabeth Pryce Davies (The Guthrie), Kristian Espiritu (Lesbian Love Octagon), Sharisse Francisco, Corynne Peters (NYU), and Caitlin Lee Reid (Lesbian Love Octagon), and will be hosted by Arielle Harding. The event will be directed by Rachel Kunstadt and music directed by Julianne B. Merrill.

This months' special event will showcase songs including Oliver!, Gypsy, My Fair Lady, Wonderful Town, West Side Story, Hello, Dolly! and other Golden Age favorites.
