Bright and bubbly Australian cabaret performer, Analisa Bell, brings her latest show Perthonality: Three Times A Charm back to The Duplex!

After performances that generated standing ovations from SRO crowds, and subsequently earned a 2015 BroadwayWorld.com New York Cabaret Award nomination for "Best Alt Cabaret Show," Raquel Cion is bringing Me & Mr. Jones: My Intimate Relationship with David Bowie back to The Slipper Room, the popular burlesque/variety club on New York's Lower East Side (167 Orchard Street), for a three-show run beginning Thursday, March 24 at 8 pm (with additional shows on April 21 and May 15, also 8 pm). Pau Sheesley brings 'Classic Western' Music to NYC with Cowboy songs and ballads ie Hand Williams, Marty Robbins, Bob Wills etc. set in a circa 1950's television show in West Texas and the love that dare not speak it's name! With Paul Sheesley, Justin Gaynor, Beth CAllen, and Ian Kenselaar.

Cabaret patroness Madame Mathieu has chosen Lindsay Brett Carothers (Bring It On, WICKED Tour) and Robi Hager (Spring Awakening, How to Succeed…) to be the guests of honor at her next soiree at The Duplex on Thursday, March 10th. Back by popular demand, the eclectic evening will feature an all new group of rising stars in stand-up, poetry, dance, songwriting, and performance art while Carothers and Hager will accept creative dares that arise from Mme. M's insane imagination. A variety show with an avant garde twist, the Soiree is as unpredictable as the patroness herself.

The Many Roads to Oz is a cabaret involving all three of everyone's favorite journeys to the Emerald City. This show features songs from The Wiz, Wicked & The Wizard of Oz. All three in a combination to make for a wonderful night. The Many Roads to Oz is produced, written, and directed by Jason Hillard and Alexa Bishop of Gay and Girl Studios.

Marti Gould Cummings makes his debut appearance at the stages of Feinstein's/54 Below in April to perform a celebration of nineties rock.

New York-based composer/lyricist, Scott Evan Davis, has announced the release date of his second recording, NEXT, on Sonic Landscapes Music (BMI).

The brainchild of Metropolitan Room managing partner Bernie Furshpan, his General Manager Joseph Macchia, and Cabaret Scenes Magazine Publisher Peter Leavy, New York's first International Cabaret Festival (February 17-21) debuted Wednesday night at the Met Room with performances and inductions into the newly established Cabaret Hall of Fame (an actual location for Hall and its memorabilia to be determined at a later date). Clubs hosting this year's festival include The Metropolitan Room, Don't Tell Mama, The Duplex, Feinstein's/54 Below, Iridium, Joe's Pub, and Stage 72 (formerly The Triad).

Songs in the Key of: 'I Don't Give a F***!' (A Concert to Benefit the World Premiere of Troll by Ken Greller) is set for Monday, Feburary 29, 2016 at 9:00 pm at The Duplex, located at 61 Christopher Street (at 7th Ave).

Feinstein's/54 Below, Broadway's Supper Club, presents Michael Hajjar in 'Michael Hajjar and Friends' featuring Dan Iwrey, Delaney Parker, and Hannah Shealy on Saturday, March 5th at 11:30 PM.

 From March 12 to April 2, August Strindberg Repertory will present Strindberg's 'Damascus II,' adapted by Edgar Chisholm, directed by Robert Greer. This is the second installment of the three-part work in which Strindberg first introduced true surrealism to the stage in the theatrical representation of the dream. Strindberg's tale of life in decadent artists' circles of 1890s Sweden will be brought to life in 1960s California and its leading character, an alienated writer, has been re-envisioned as an author modeled on Amiri Baraka.

Kevin Smith Kirkwood, of KINKY BOOTS and THE 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE, will make his nightclub return tonight, February 16th at new Hell's Kithchen hot spot, RISE.

From March 12 to April 2, August Strindberg Repertory will present Strindberg's DAMASCUS II, adapted by Edgar Chisholm, directed by Robert Greer.

New Generation Theater Company is back at The Duplex Cabaret Theater to continue their 2016 cabaret series with 'What I Did For Love' a musical revue. The night will include musical numbers from shows such as Company, Dreamgirls, Ghost, Heathers, If/Then, Honeymoon In Vegas and more!

Award Winning Playwright, Vanda, presents a monthly stage performance of her soon to be released book, JULIANA. The novel and live performance centers around LGBT life in New York City in the 1940's. The performances are directed by Ray Fritz.
