The Kennedy Center hosts its 15th annual Page-to-Stage New Play Festival from Saturday, September 3 to Monday, September 5, 2016, featuring more than 50 theaters from the D.C. metropolitan area, all with a mission to produce and support new work.

Natalie Joy Johnson, Molly Pope and Brian Nash are finally coming through on their threat to undertake their very own CABARET FILIBUSTER.

Feinstein's/54 Below, Broadway's Supper Club, presents Mel Johnson Jr. (Jekyll & Hyde, The Lion King, The Rink), Kate Rockwell (Bring It On, Rock of Ages, Hair, Legally Blonde), Heath Saunders (Natasha, Pierre...), Gretchen Wylder (Clinton, Bed Bugs, Divorce the Musical), Erin Maya (Wearing Black, The Donkey Show), Viet Vo (Miss Saigon Ntl Tour, Fishing for Wives), Alexis Field (50 Shades Ntl Tour, Angelina Ballerina) in THE SONGS OF RILEY THOMAS on Friday, August 19th, at 9:30 pm.

CELEBRATION THEATRE presents as part of its New Works Reading Series, THE FABULOUS DARSHAN, written by Bob Stewart and directed by Jeffrey Polk.   THE FABULOUS DARSHAN will perform one night only, Tuesday August 16 at 7:30pm at The West Hollywood City Chambers, 625 N. San Vicente in West Hollywood.

New Generation Theater Company is back at The Duplex Cabaret Theater with its brand new show, Nothin' But A Good Time, A Kick-Ass Musical Revue. The performance will feature songs made famous from Broadway's most memorable rock musicals including High Fidelity, The Who's Tommy, Heather's, Jesus Christ Superstar, Rock Of Ages, We Will Rock You and more!

The New York International Fringe Festival (FringeNYC) a production of The Present Company presents HELD: A Musical Fantasy, a poignant story of childhood friends growing apart in a world where reality is fluid and time can stand still, with book and lyrics by Kelly Maxwell and music by Meghan Rose.

Songwriter Will Van Dyke and cellist Allison Seidner are set to perform an evening of original music entitled 'A Beer And A Song' at The Duplex on Monday, September 12, 2016 at 7:00 p.m.

Prospect Theater Company, under the leadership of Artistic Director Cara Reichel and Managing Director Melissa Huber, presentsARCHETYPE, a collection of six new mini-musicals, the culminating production of Prospect's 2016 Musical Theater Lab (the company's 10th lab production).  ARCHETYPE will play from July 27 - 31 at The Theater at the 14th Street Y (344 East 14th Street @ 1st Ave., NYC).

Broadway's Lindsey Brett Carothers (Bring it On, WICKED (National Tour)) will premiere her new one-woman show, THE VOICE WITHIN, on August 7 at 9:30pm at The Duplex Cabaret Theater.  Written and performed by Carothers, the show is directed by Marshall Pailet with music direction by Andrea Grody. Drew Fornarola and Madame Mathieu Productions will produce.

?The NYC Department of Cultural Affairs (DCLA) and the NYC Administration for Children's Services (ACS) have announced The Lost Collective have been selected to serve as artists-in-residence with ACS.

The sumptuously talented Leanne Borghesi returns to Feinstein's at the Nikko with her all-new comedic show, BDSM (Beautiful Dirty Sexy Me) for two performances only - Friday, August 5 (8 p.m.) and Saturday, August 6 (8 p.m.).

Called 'a cabaret diva' by TimeOut Chicago, acclaimed vocalist Melissa Young's takes audiences on a tour of the gay rights movement through song and comedy in Out And Proud! A Rainbow Celebration. This special one night only benefit for The Center Orlando, musical celebration takes place at Davenport's, 1383 N Milwaukee, Chicago, Thursday , July 28th Showtime at 8pm.

Matthew Holloway will return to The Duplex on Friday July 15th and Friday July 22nd, 2016 at 7:00 PM to present Mother Always Said!, a cabaret performance featuring Josh Kight on piano.

Australian cabaret performer, Analisa Bell, brings her Billie Holiday tribute, Strange Fruit, to the Metropolitan Room on Thursday, June 30 at 9.30pm.
