Last night, November 10, The Lilly Awards Foundation with the Broadway at Birdland Series presented The Lilly Awards Broadway Cabaret: An evening of showstoppers written by women and performed by Broadway's Best to benefit The Lilly Awards Foundation whose mission is to promote gender parity at all levels of theatrical production, and develop and celebrate the work of women in the theater. Jackie Burns (If/Then), Alan H. Green (Sister Act, NBC's 'Peter Pan Live') Lesli Margherita (Matilda), Alexandra Silber (Master Class), Jeremy Stolle (The Phantom of the Opera), and Tim Young (Next to Normal) have joined the cast of composer/lyricist Michael Mott's upcoming concert Where the Sky Ends Live in Concert.
On November 9th, composer-lyricist Michael Mott will be joined by some of Broadway's biggest names for Where the Sky Ends: Live in Concert, a concert of music from his recent album of the same name, along with brand new material.
This November, The Square Foot Theatre Company will present RENT, the beloved work of Jonathan Larson. This will be this Connecticut based non-equity, non-profit community theatre's 36th production in 7 years. They are thrilled to begin their 2014-2015 season with this ground breaking musical. This production will be guest directed by The Broadway Boys member, Mike Backes. This production will not be one to miss.
Additional Performers have been added to The Lilly Awards Broadway Cabaret including Adrienne Warren (Bring It On), Sydney Lucas (Fun Home), David Beach, Adam Guettel, Brooks Ashmanskas and original Broadway cast members Keala Settle, Alison Case, Jay Armstrong Johnson, Kathleen Monteleone, Jim Newman and Dale Soules joining Amanda Green singing a song from her show Hands on a Hard Body.
Tonight, October 9th, Broadway Sessions celebrates the music of Carner and Gregor, Loesel and Burkell, Joey Contreras, Jeff Thomson, Drew Gasparini and Adam Overett.

BROADWAY SESSIONS is described as an evening of musical performances, games and open mic featuring a new Broadway guest each week. The show is created and hosted by Ben Cameron (Bway Wicked, Aida and Footloose) and features musical director Joshua Stephen Kartes on piano.
