'The Big Apple Circus' is now in full swing at Damrosch Park on the grounds of Lincoln Center in New York City. There is a full schedule of shows that will be performed through January 27 that will thrill guests.

Today's subject Ann Hould-Ward is both a Tony and Drama Desk Award winning costume designer. Her work isn't limited just to the theatre by any means. Besides contributing designs for such legendary Broadway productions as Beauty and the Beast, Into the Woods and Sunday in the Park with George (co-design with her mentor Broadway legend Patricia Zipprodt), her work has also been seen with many dance and opera companies all over the world.
"This show is a boot camp in and of itself!" declares Jacob Tischler.
Tischler is referring to his role as Tony Manero in Maine State Music Theatre's production of Saturday Night Fever, which begins its run at the Pickard on July 18th, and he is speaking to Broadway World about the colorful creative path that has brought him to this point in his career.
Philadelphia School of Circus Arts invites children to run off to the big top this summer. Circus Summer Camp is back - and with exciting changes! This unique full-day camp program for children five years old and up will debut at the newly opened Circus Campus at 6452 Greene Street, in the former St. Madeleine Sophie Church. Children are invited to walk the wire, take to the air and juggle their creativity in the stunning new 30,000 square foot space that features 40 foot ceilings, a separate gymnasium, extensive classroom spaces, outdoor green space with tightwire rigs among the trees, a brand-new Olympic size trampoline, a larger parking lot for parents, and a regional rail station next door for those taking Septa. The new facility means an expanded camp program, with five types of circus camp running a record eleven weeks long. Classes will also increase in size for the first time in many years.
