Giffords Circus has revealed the name of it’s 2023 show: Les Enfants du Paradis will take inspiration from French Romanticism in the mid-19th Century.

Rubicon Theatre Company will present the Southern California premiere of THE REALISTIC JONESES, Wednesday, January 25 at 7:00 pm, with a press opening on Saturday, January 28 at 7:00 pm, running through Sunday, February 12.

The Abbey Theatre has announced that Rob Furey has been appointed to the role of Technical Director, joining the Senior Management Team. Rob will lead the Technical Department, including Production, Stage Management, Costume, Props, Stage Tech, Light and Sound.

Rehearsals began this morning for The Long Christmas Dinner by Thornton Wilder which runs on the Peacock stage from 10 – 31 December. This classic play is a gift-wrapped seasonal gem, guaranteed to delight and surprise.

Once Off Productions will welcome Orla Flanagan to the team as Senior Producer. With over twenty years of arts management, producing and programming experience working with household names like glór, Brighton Dome, Fishamble and The Abbey, Orla will bring a wealth of experience to Once Off Productions - the independent producing platform established in 2004 by Maura O'Keeffe to provide creative and flexible producing supports for independent performing artists.

St. Ann's Warehouse, in association with Gina Moxley and Pan Pan, presents the American premiere of Moxley's award-winning, punk-propelled satire The Patient Gloria, directed by John McIlduff, November 16–December 4. Created at the height of #MeToo protest and empowerment, Moxley's production comes to the U.S. in a moment of grave peril for women's rights.

Anna-Jane Casey will be joining the UK and Ireland Tour of the pantomime MOTHER GOOSE as Cilla The Goose with Mairi Barclay, Becca Francis, Shailan Gohil and Laura Tyrer also confirmed to join the company

On November 2, 2022, The New York Landmarks Conservancy will host its 29th Living Landmarks Celebration at The Plaza.  This year's honorees are Rev. Dr. Calvin Butts III, Andreas C. Dracopoulos, Marlene Hess, Earl Monroe, Charlotte Moore and Ciarán O'Reilly, Faith Ringgold, and Oscar Tang. 

The 2022 UK Theatre Awards winners have been revealed in a lunchtime ceremony at London's Guildhall. The biggest winner of the day was Leeds Playhouse, who won three awards including UK's Most Welcoming Theatre, Best Design for Laura Hopkins & Simon Wainwright for Dracula: The Untold Story and Best Performance in a Musical for Divina de Campo for Hedwig and the Angry Inch.

Rehearsals have begun for a major new production of Conor McPherson’s acclaimed 1997 play, The Weir. Directed by Abbey Theatre Artistic Director, Caitríona McLaughlin, this production will be staged at the Abbey theatre this winter.

Replacing the previously announced production of Yes So I Said Yes by David Ireland which has been postponed due to scheduling conflicts, Not Now by multi-award-winning playwright David Ireland has its English premiere at the Finborough Theatre for a four week limited season starting on Tuesday, 1 November 2022 (Press Nights: Thursday, 3 November 2022 and Friday, 4 November 2022 at 7.30pm).

Paradise Now! a funny and raging new play about ambition, exploitation, and kinship in a world that wants to keep us strangers, opens at the Bush Theatre on 2 December (press night 8 December).  This new Bush Theatre commission by Margaret Perry (Collapsible) is an exciting collaboration with director Jaz Woodcock-Stewart (Civilisation) and features an all-female ensemble cast.

Ambassador Theatre Group Productions has announced a UK and Ireland Tour of the pantomime MOTHER GOOSE, starring Ian McKellen as Mother Goose, John Bishop as Vic Goose and Mel Giedroyc as the Goose.

Galway based Brú Theatre will tour their exciting, multi-disciplinary show Selvage by James Riordan, directed by Lara Campbell, this October and November to eight venues around the country. Selvage is a highly visual, theatrical event using different forms of live performance to tell the story of Jo as his fairytale falters and his 'gnaw' begins to bite.
