The Phoenix Theatre of Indianapolis announces the Midwest Premiere of Call Me Boricua! Written and performed by Ricardo Melendez, this one-man show starts Thursday, February 11, and runs through February 21, 2010 in the Frank & Katrina Basile Theatre at the Phoenix.

Frankie, a waitress, and Johnny, a short-order cook in the same restaurant, are in bed. Johnny is convinced they love each other, and Frankie wants him to leave so she can get back to her tv and ice cream. Two aging veterans of broken relationships and the cynicism of modern life make one more go of it in a sometimes touching, sometimes hilarious examination of, well, love? Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune plays February 26 & 27, March 5 & 6, 12 &13 at 8PM.

Second Stage Theatre has announced that Tony Award winners John Lithgow and Jennifer Ehle will star as MR. & MRS. FITCH in the world premiere comedy from Douglas Carter Beane. The production marks Mr. Beane's return to Second Stage Theatre where his critically acclaimed, Tony-nominated play The Little Dog Laughed premiered in 2005. MR. & MRS. FITCH will be directed by Scott Ellis, who also staged the world premiere and Broadway transfer of The Little Dog Laughed. Previews begin at Second Stage Theatre on January 26, 2010; opening night is scheduled for Thursday, February 22.
