Banana Boat Productions and New Perspectives Theatre Company (NPTC) are pleased to announce TRUTHS & ACCOMMODATIONS, two plays by Caribbean authors, including the Trinidadian writer of Banana Boat and NPTC's acclaimed production of The Ritual. This new co- production runs November 7 - 16, 2014 at New Perspectives Studio, 458 West 37th Street, with performances Wednesday through Saturday at 7:30pm and Saturday/Sunday at 2:30pm.

On Monday, October 13 at 8:30PM four new musicals will be presenting 15 minute excerpts for an audience and a panel of industry professionals. Each show will receive a 5-hour block of rehearsal time at the Factory. A cast of volunteer performers will then have 15 minutes to present each excerpt before an audience and a panel of industry professionals.

The Musical Theatre Factory (MTF), under the leadership of founding Artistic Director Shakina Nayfack and Managing Director Danny Abosch, announces its fall season dedicated to the development of new musical theatre. Musical Theatre Factory operates as a volunteer-based cooperative of artists and arts administrators committed to a process of peer evaluation and the cultivation of new work, free from the pressures of critical or commercial success.

New Perspectives Theatre Company (NPTC) has announced on the margin, the 7th Annual Women's Work Short Play Festival with six original scripts developed to that theme. The festival runs from Monday, August 4th to Saturday, August 9th with performances of two Programs alternating 4:00pm and 8:00pm curtain times.. on the margin performs at NPTC Studio, 458 West 37th Street (at 10th Avenue.)
