Nominees for the 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards® for outstanding performances in 2012 in five film and eight primetime television categories as well as the SAG Awards honors for outstanding action performances by film and television stunt ensembles were announced this morning in Los Angeles at the Pacific Design Center's SilverScreen Theater in West Hollywood.

Yesterday, the Sundance Institute announced the films from next year's Film Festival that will have a special screening in ten independent theaters across the United States. The screening will take place on January 31, 2013 as part of 'Sundance Film Festival USA.

Country music superstar Keith Urban is set to perform with seven young musicians who have participated in the GRAMMY Foundation(R)'s GRAMMY Camp(R) music program on the AMERICAN COUNTRY AWARDS, airing live from Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas Monday, Dec. 10 (8:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed) on FOX.

On Saturday, December 8, at 1pm, The Met: Live in HD series continues at the Warner's Nancy Marine Studio Theatre witha new production of Verdi's Un Ballo in Maschera.

Two operas by Giuseppe Verdi will be simulcast live on the Peterborough Players big screen on two successive Saturdays at 1:00 pm: a new production of Un Ballo in Maschera (A Masked Ball) on December 8; and Aida on December 15.

The Line-Up has been announced for the 2013 Sundance Film Festival which will be held in Utah this January. The event marks the Festival's 29th year. This year, 113 feature-length films representing 32 countries will be presented.

Sundance Institute announced today the films selected for the U.S. and World Cinema Dramatic and Documentary Competitions and the out-of-competition NEXT <=> section of the 2013 Sundance Film Festival, January 17-27 in Park City, Salt Lake City, Ogden and Sundance, Utah.

Lindsay Posner returns to the Almeida to direct Rebecca Lenkiewicz' new stage adaptation of Henry James' The Turn of the Screw from 18 January - 16 March 2013, with press night on 24 January. The cast comprises Caroline Bartleet (a woman), Laurence Belcher (Miles), Eoin Geoghegan (a man), Gemma Jones (Mrs. Grose), Anna Madeley (The Governess), Orlando Wells (Sackville) and Isabella Blake, Emilia Jones and Lucy Morton who will alternate the role of Flora. OY VEY! THE PLAY will begin performances today, November 23rd at The Lion Theatre at Theatre Row (410 West 42nd Street).
