Barron Ryan, one of the most talented up-and-coming concert pianists in the country released his debut album, The Masters' Apprentice today!

The McCallum Theatre presents "Salute to Benny Goodman at Carnegie Hall" on Monday, March 6, at 8:00pm. The performance features the Benny Goodman Tribute Orchestra with 18 of the country's top musicians, conducted by Terry Myers, and with Special Guest Vocalist Nancy Osborne. Relive the legendary concert that made Benny Goodman the most celebrated jazz bandleader of his day. Leading a band of musicians including Harry James, Ziggy Elman, Gene Krupa, Teddy Wilson, Lionel Hampton, Johnny Hodges and Count Basie, Benny Goodman played music ranging from "Honeysuckle Rose" to "Sing, Sing, Sing." We re-create that night in 1938 with today's best musicians.

Inspired by the seasons and topographies, George Winston's concerts feature a variety of styles including melodic folk piano, New Orleans R&B piano, and stride piano. This concert will feature Winston's 'Winter Show,' which will include melodic fall and winter type songs, some of Vince Guaraldi's Peanuts pieces, works inspired by the New Orleans piano and stride piano traditions, and songs from his upcoming album, Spring Carousel - A Cancer Research Benefit, scheduled for release in 2016.

Toronto – Out of a pool of 120 aspiring opera singers from across the country, the Canadian Opera Company has selected eight to compete at Centre Stage: Ensemble Studio Competition on November 3, 2015 at Toronto's Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts. Centre Stage is the COC's annual celebration of the next generation of opera stars. His performance on April 17 is promised to wrap up the Ware Center's season of the Jazz in the Sky performances on a high note. The concert begins at 7:30 pm at the Ware Center located at 42 N. Prince Street, Lancaster. On Saturday, April 18 at 7:30 pm, Frank Griffith will join the 10th Annual Single Reed Symposium and finish the evening as a guest artist in the Jazz & Java concert on campus at Gordinier Hall located at 40 S. George Street, Millersville.
