New Release Helps Parents Understand Their Princesses (and the Hormones That Come with Them)

Author, speaker, and parenting coach C. Lynn Williams has a gift for helping parents develop better relationships with their teenagers. She shares that gift once again with the release of the third book in her Staying Sane parenting series: "Raising Your Daughter Through the Joys, Tears and Hormones!" (220 Publishing) Williams offers the benefits of her years of experience raising two girls as well as her own experiences as a daughter to help mothers better understand the intricacies of the mother/daughter relationship. It was a concern with the lack of communication she noticed between parents and teens in homes today that prompted Williams to write a series of books that would assist parents as they work through the challenges of raising young adults. The author said in a recent interview, 'there is so much dissatisfaction and sometimes hatred that exists between mothers and their daughters,' it is her hope that the book 'begins a dialogue that needs to take place in households the world over.' With 'MsParentGuru,' as Williams has come to be known, and Raising Your Daughter in their corner, mothers can look forward to gaining new insights on coping with the strain that the transition of a child to an adult can bring to the dynamic of their connection with teenage daughters. More information on and advice from Williams can be found at her parenting blog: http://www.clynnwilliams.com/ or website: www.clynnwilliams.com/

And you thought celebrities led dramatic lives? Just wait until they die for the real drama to begin. THE WILL: FAMILY SECRETS REVEALED returns this October, featuring the outrageousness that abounds when the famous depart. With royalties and residuals up for grabs, celebrities leave behind a lot more than a mansion full of cash - they also have managers, mom-agers, mistresses, and family members who all want a piece of the pie. This new season runs the gamut in spotlighting superstars like Ritchie Valens, an up-and-comer who died young and will-less; Jerry Garcia, whose grateful heart promised too much to too many; and even child star Gary Coleman, who left behind a messy estate plan that pitted his ex-wife against his former best friend. In the premiere episode, THE WILL examines the estate of Tammy Wynette, the queen of country music. When her four daughters realized they had been denied their inheritance, they began questioning the events surrounding their mother's death, and launched a $50-million wrongful death lawsuit against their stepfather and their mother's physician. When the personalities are big but the pocketbooks are even bigger, now that's when things get really interesting. Season three of THE WILL: FAMILY SECRETS REVEALED premieres Thursday, October 18 at 9 PM (ET) on Investigation Discovery.
