The Public Theater and Theatre for a New Audience will present three special screenings of Wallace Shawn and Andre Gregory's most beloved films, Andre Gregory: Before and After Dinner, Vanya on 42nd Street, and My Dinner With Andre, at Joe's Pub at The Public in August. Dance Theatre of Harlem (DTH), the groundbreaking and newly revitalized classical and contemporary ballet company, will open the 2013 Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival season in the Ted Shawn Theatre June 19-23. Led by founding member and former principal dancer, Artistic Director Virginia Johnson, the company will present a range of classic and new ballet work including George Balanchine's Agon, The Lark Ascending by Alvin Ailey, and Far But Close by Canadian contemporary choreographer John Alleyne.

Jacob's Pillow, National Historic Landmark, National Medal of Arts recipient, and home to America's longest-running dance festival, will soon unveil new seats in its historic Ted Shawn Theatre (1942) and Doris Duke Theatre (1989). The new seats are part of a $1,000,000 challenge grant from The Kresge Foundation, enabling the Pillow to implement long-needed improvements to its theatres and residential buildings and to seed a facility reserve designed to address long-term maintenance issues. The new seats in the Ted Shawn Theatre will be officially unveiled at the Pillow's June 9 Member Appreciation Film Event, highlighting the final months of the "Name a Seat, Sustain a Landmark" fundraising campaign.
