The Public Theater and Theatre for a New Audience will present three special screenings of Wallace Shawn and Andre Gregory's most beloved films, Andre Gregory: Before and After Dinner, Vanya on 42nd Street, and My Dinner With Andre, at Joe's Pub at The Public in August. These three screenings are presented as part of the current retrospective, The Wallace Shawn-Andre Gregory Project, celebrating the 40-year collaboration between these two artists.

From July 31-August 4, Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival presents 3e étage, soloists of the Paris Opera Ballet, in the Ted Shawn Theatre. This performance marks the company's first U.S. appearance since a sold-out U.S. debut during Festival 2011. Traveling from France, this contemporary ballet company will perform the world premiere of Le Pillow Thirteen, a suite of new ballets and beloved favorites commissioned specifically for Jacob's Pillow. Under the direction of choreographer Samuel Murez, star dancers from the prestigious Paris Opera Ballet, including Murez himself, combine impeccable ballet technique with vastly imaginative style in this exclusive program.

Dynamic contemporary dance company BODYTRAFFIC makes its Jacob's Pillow debut July 31- August 4 in the Doris Duke Theatre. Named among Dance Magazine's “25 to Watch” in 2013, the company's Pillow program consists of And at midnight the green bride floated through the village square…(2012) created by Israeli-American dancemaker Barak Marshall, Fragile Dwellings (2011) by Belgian-born choreographer Stijn Celis, and O2Joy (2012) by founder and artistic director of The Bakery, Richard Siegal.

Carroll, Andrew Hobgood and Gus Menary. Jacob's Pillow presents Tere O'Connor Dance in Cover Boy, July 17-21 in the Doris Duke Theatre. Created by choreographer and Artistic Director Tere O'Connor in 2011, Cover Boy explores the closeted gay experience and universal feeling of "otherness" in a poignant and thought-provoking way. Gia Kourlas in Time Out New Yorkcomments "Cover Boy looks at beauty, the body, fear, and desire to find the positive in what would otherwise be thought of as a marginalized existence." Siobhan Burke of The New York Times notes "…hopeful and fearful, aggressive and affectionate, communal and solitary. Mr. O'Connor's dancers embody those contradictions with superb audacity and elegance." This performance is presented as part of the Pillow's annual LGBT Weekend OUT, featuring a packed schedule of free and ticketed performances, talks, and special events, including a Ted Shawn and His Men Dancers tour led by Director of Preservation Norton Owen Sunday, July 21 at noon.

L-E-V, the contemporary dance company founded by Israel-based co-creators and artistic directors Sharon Eyal and Gai Behar, will make its U.S. debut in the Ted Shawn Theatre at Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival July 24-28. The company performs the U.S. premiere ofHOUSE, a hypnotic evening-length work originally commissioned by the Batsheva Dance Company. With a score by the popular composer Ori Lichtik and lighting by acclaimed designer Bambi, the exquisite dancers of L-E-V, including Sharon Eyal herself, perform this compelling and mesmerizing work.
