CBS has announced that on Monday, Dec. 7th, Jennifer Hudson will appear on LATE SHOW WITH STEPHEN COLBERT for an interview and a performance from the Broadway production of THE COLOR PURPLE.

The Emmy and Golden Globe nominated star Fran Drescher ('The Nanny') will extend her engagement an additional three weeks until June 29 in Rodgers & Hammerstein's CINDERELLA on Broadway, it has been announced by the Tony Award-winning musical's producers Robyn Goodman, Jill Furman and Stephen Kocis. Ms. Drescher - making her Broadway debut this season as Cinderella's wicked stepmother - joined the production in February and, while an extension through June 8 was previously announced, it has been determined anew that Ms. Drescher will remain with the CINDERELLA company through June 29.
