With almost 60 years of theater experience between them, Ben Evett and J. Michael Flynn will be co-starring in the Mark St. Germain intellectual hit Freud's Last Session, directed by Stephen Wrentmore and co-produced with the Arizona Theatre Company.
Freud's Last Session by Mark St. Germain will be taking the stage at San Jose Rep next month. The thought-provoking, one-act play presents an imagined debate between two colossal, charismatic thinkers of the modern age: legendary psychoanalyst, Sigmund Freud, and young professor and author, C.S. Lewis. Directed by Stephen Wrentmore, Freud's Last Session is a co-production with the Arizona Theatre Company.
Access Theater has presented a 3-week extension of Bedlam's critically acclaimed revival of George Bernard Shaw's rarely produced 1923 masterpiece SAINT JOAN. This Off-off-Broadway presentation marks the first time in 19 years that SAINT JOAN has been staged professionally in New York City. In this bold, environmental staging directed by Eric Tucker, Shaw's play is performed in its entirety using an ensemble of only four actors to play all 24 roles. The show plays its final performance at Access Theater in Tribeca tonight, May 13.

The Phoenix Theatre of Indianapolis announces the opening of Freud's Last Session, a play by Mark St. Germain, suggested by The Question Of God: Did Freud and Lewis ever meet? by Dr. Armand Nicholi, Jr., Thursday, March 15, in the Frank & Katrina Basile Theatre.

Ken Shatz (the Obie Award-winning productions of Crowbar and Bad Penny with En Garde Arts, King Lear opposite Andre de Shields at Classical Theatre of Harlem) and Rufus Collins (seen recently in the acclaimed Manhattan Theatre Club revival of The Royal Family, other Broadway credits include To Be or Not to Be, The Homecoming, and A Day in the Death of Joe Egg), will head the cast of Stephen Jeffreys' period play The Libertine, which will have a limited engagement at the Chernuchin Theater from May 14th-May 30th.
