T. Schreiber Studio and Theatre hosted a Salute to New York Theatre to honor a trio of New York theatre luminaries last night, November 12th, at the Maritime Hotel (363 West 16th Street at 9th Avenue). This year's group of honorees included Tony Award-winning actress Judith Light, Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright John Patrick Shanley and NY1 theatre critic Roma Torre. Among the presenters last night were The Perfomers' Broadway star Henry Winkler, playwright Stephen Adly Guirgis and more. Check out photos from the event below!

T. Schreiber Studio and Theatre (Terry Schreiber and Peter Jensen, Co-Artistic Directors) will host the Salute to New York Theatre to honor four New York theatre luminaries - Tony Award-winning actress Judith Light, Tony Award nominated actress Amy Ryan, Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright John Patrick Shanley and NY1 theatre critic Roma Torre - - on Monday, November 12th, starting at 6:00 pm at the Maritime Hotel (363 West 16th Street at 9th Avenue).

Whit Stillman Presents Special BARCELONA Showing, New Film DAMSELS IN DISTRESS 4/04-05

Writer-director Whit Stillman, whose urbane comedies made him one of the most accomplished American independent directors of the 1990s, is returning to feature filmmaking with DAMSELS IN DISTRESS, a widely anticipated comedy starring Greta Gerwig that centers on a group of collegiate girls. Stillman will appear on two consecutive evenings at Museum of the Moving Image: on Wednesday, April 4, with actor Chris Eigeman for a discussion following a rare screening of his 1994 film Barcelona, and on Thursday, April 5, to introduce a special preview screening of Damsels in Distress.
