Carnegie Hall's 125th anniversary season is fast approaching, and we are looking forward to a variety of exciting new projects and exceptional programming. Listed below are jazz, pop, and world music highlights at Carnegie Hall for the 2015-2016 season.

Bristol Riverside Theatre's Summer Musicale Fest Continues with SUMMER WITH A FRIEND

Bristol Riverside Theatre's Summer Musicale Fest continues with You've Got A Friend on July 16-26.  Paying tribute to the composers of the early 1970's, the program features songs by Grammy Award-winning artists James Taylor, Carole King, Jimmy Webb and Paul Simon.  Keith Baker and the BRT Concert Band are joined by BRT veterans Demetria Joyce Bailey Laura Giknis, Tamar Greene, Elyse Langley, and with James A. Bock making his BRT debut.

Michael Feinstein, BoDeans, Doktor Kaboom and More Set for Music by the Lake's 2015 Lineup, Beginning Today

Outdoor summer entertainment venue Music by the Lake, presented by George Williams College of Aurora University, announces its 15th annual season presenting six artist debuts and a range of musical genres and shows, including American classics, jazz, contemporary rock, comedy for families, pop and classic rock. The season, which includes weekend events from today, June 27 through August 8, features performances for all generations to enjoy.

4th Annual Asheville Percussion Festival Set for This Weekend

Asheville Percussion Festival is being held this weekend, June 19-21, 2015 in beautiful Asheville, NC. Come enjoy a creative environment where percussionists and dancers of all traditions, from around the globe, gather to explore, create and innovate. All workshops on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday will be held at the Odyssey Community School.

Photo Flash: First Look at 1776, Opening Tonight at Cortland Rep

For the second production in their 44th annual season of professional summer theatre, Cortland Repertory Theatre presents the revolutionary musical '1776', by Peter Stone, with music and lyrics by Sherman Edwards. Performances of this fascinating, family-friendly show will run from tonight, June 17, through July 4 with evening performances at 7:30. Matinees are available on June 19, 21, 24, 26, 28 and July 1 at 2:00 PM. BroadwayWorld has a first look at the cast in action below!

Circle Theatre to Present BECKY'S NEW CAR, 7/9-25

Circle Theatre continues the 2015 season in July with the comedy BECKY'S NEW CAR by Steven Dietz, running July 9-25. In this lively comedy, Becky Foster is caught in middle age, middle management and in a middling marriage-with no prospects for change on the horizon. Then one night a socially inept and grief-struck millionaire stumbles into the car dealership where Becky works. Becky is offered nothing short of a new life…and the audience is offered a chance to ride shotgun in a way that most plays wouldn't dare. BECKY'S NEW CAR is a thoroughly original comedy with serious overtones, a devious and delightful romp down the road not taken.

Cortland Rep's 1776 Begins Tomorrow

Tickets are also available for sale 24 hours a day through the CRT website at www.cortlandrep.org. Tickets are going fast, so CRT suggests calling early.

Circle Theatre to Present THE JUNGLE BOOK, 6/24-28

Circle Theatre continues the 2015 season in June with the family Magic Circle production of THE JUNGLE BOOK, running June 24-28. In this action-packed children's tale, based on the stories by Rudyard Kipling and adapted by Monica Flory, precocious Mowgli is raised by caring wolves, befriended by Bagheera the panther and Baloo the bear and threatened by Shere Khan the evil tiger. When Mowgli learns he is actually a human, he must decide whether to remain with the pack, or return to the human word from which he was born. What will he choose? And will he be trained in the Law of the Jungle in time to defeat Shere Khan, the most feared animal of all?

MEN ARE FROM MARS, WOMEN ARE FROM VENUS LIVE! Set for Times-Union Center This Weekend

Men Are From Mars - Women Are From Venus LIVE!, the one-man fusion of theatre and stand-up starring Peter Story, is a light-hearted theatrical comedy based on the New York Times #1 best-selling book of the last decade by John Gray, is back by popular demand to Jacksonville's Times-Union Center, Terry Theater this weekend, June 11 - 13, 2015.
