Lynne Meadow (Artistic Director) and Barry Grove (Executive Producer) have just announced two additional productions as part of Manhattan Theatre Club's upcoming 2016-2017 season: The Broadway premiere of August Wilson's Jitney, directed by Tony Award winner Ruben Santiago-Hudson and the New York Premiere of Cost of Living, written by Martyna Majok and directed by Jo Bonney, in association with Williamstown Theatre Festival, Mandy Greenfield Artistic Director. Cost of Living will have its World Premiere at Williamstown Theatre Festival on the Nikos Stage from June 29 to July 10, 2016.

Both have performed in multiple shows with the company and can currently be seen on Steppenwolf's stages in Mary Page Marlowe and The Flick respectively. The Public Theater announced today that Stew and Heidi Rodewald will perform live with the on-stage band for THE TOTAL BENT, playing the guitar and bass, respectively. With text by Stew and music by Stew and Heidi Rodewald, the team behind the Tony Award-wining musical Passing Strange, which premiered at The Public in 2003, this world premiere musical is directed by Joanna Settle. Performances begin Tuesday, May 10 and continue through Sunday, June 12, with an official press opening on Wednesday, May 25.

Miami City Ballet's landmark 30th Anniversary Season culminates with an unprecedented reimagining of George Balanchine's magical full-evening ballet, A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM.
