This time, New York City is besieged by the illogical natural disaster. 'Sharknado 2' airs tonight at 9:00 pm on Syfy. Los Angeles and New York were not enough! Syfy and The Asylum today announced that yet another city will be devoured by flying sharks when the new Original Movie Sharknado 3 premieres on Syfy in Summer 2015.

Syfy has ordered a third installment of its highly successful SHARKNADO franchise, even before the second film airs this July.

Film, television and video game actor, D.C. Douglas, confirmed on twitter today that he recently wrapped filming a cameo sequence for SyFy's much anticipated sequel, 'Sharknado 2: The Second One.'

On this morning's today, Matt Lauer and Al Roker revealed that they will be making cameo appearances in Syfy's upcoming horror sequel SHARKNADO 2.
