A new school year beckons for Motherland as the show has been commissioned for a third series on BBC Two from Merman, with Delightful Industries.

The Royal Theatrical Support Trust (RTST) and Royal & Derngate Northampton have announced Nancy Medina as the winner of the 2018 RTST Sir Peter Hall Director Award and Josh Seymour as the runner-up. Now in its third year, and its second bearing the name of the RTST co-founder, Sir Peter Hall, the award is made to an up-and-coming director demonstrating exceptional directing skills in a rigorous competitive process.

Sky One, a British TV Channel, just revealed a teaser channel for its upcoming 2018 TV Series, A Discovery of Witches.  The official press release from Sky One states, What happens when a witch and a vampire fall in love? Tonic Theatre today announce the 2nd annual Tonic Awards, celebrating the achievements of game-changing women in theatre and the performing arts.
