September 14 marks the launch of O17, the first edition of Opera Philadelphia's new annual season-opening festival. Greenhouse Theater Center and Poor Box Theater, in association with D.C's award winning Taffety Punk Theatre Company, is pleased to present THE AMERICAN MERCY TOUR: MERCY KILLERS and SIDE EFFECTS, two one-act plays steeped in America's controversial relationship with healthcare. Taking the stage in Live Art's state-of-the-art studio, established artist instructors will work closely with your young artist to engage in the world of ideas. Over the course of two weeks, we will collaborate and build a community. Your Thinkers and Movers will run, jump and spin, compose, glitter costumes, and craft their own stories.

Mindi Abair and The Boneshakers will release their first studio album September 15th on Pretty Good For A Girl Records. The first single “Vinyl” is being sourced to AAA, Blues and Americana radio.

The Ford Theatres today announced a spectacular season for Summer 2017 at the fully transformed John Anson Ford Amphitheatre. The 2017 season will open today, July 15 with a performance by famed tap dancer and choreographer Savion Glover and runs through Monday, October 16.

Berkeley Repertory Theatre today announced the full casting and creative team for the world premiere of AIN'T TOO PROUD-THE TEMPTATIONS MUSICAL. The musical stage production will be directed by Tony Award winner Des McAnuff. Berkeley Rep presents the show by special arrangement with Ira Pittelman and Tom Hulce (American Idiot, Spring Awakening).
