Laguna Playhouse 'Theatre For A New Generation' series is honored to present I NEVER SAW ANOTHER BUTTERFLY, written by Celeste Raspanti and directed by Donna Inglima for five performances only beginning Thursday, February 14 through Saturday, February 16 at the Laguna Playhouse, Moulton Theatre, 606 Laguna Canyon Rd. in Laguna Beach.

'Mr. Sorkin's considerable talents are an asset to any project and we regret that he's unable to remain with HOUDINI,' said producers Scott Sanders and David Rockwell, 'However, what Hugh and the creative team continue to create is one of the most exciting projects we've ever been a part of. Our projected arrival on Broadway and additional creative team announcement will be made at a future date.'

According to Deadline.com, Aaron Sorkin has withdrawn as librettist of the upcoming Broadway production Houdini, starring Hugh Jackman. Sorkin's schedule, including his commitments involving the second season of HBO's 'The Newsroom' and adapting Walter Isaacson's book 'Steve Jobs' for Sony Pictures, would not allow him time to continue work on the musical.

Ra Ra Riot's third album Beta Love is set for release today, January 22 on Barsuk Records. The album marks the band's first outing as a four piece with members Wes Miles on vocals, Milo Bonacci on guitar, Mathieu Santos on bass and Rebecca Zeller on violin forming the core of the group.

Bette Midler will star in John Logan's new play, I'll Eat You Last: A Chat With Sue Mengers, directed by Joe Mantello, opening on Broadway on Wednesday, April 24 at a Shubert theatre to be announced.
