David Hyde Pierce & Mary Testa to Host Playwrights Horizons' Annual Gala Honoring Bob Moss this May

The evening will be co-hosted by two of the company's alumni actors: two-time Tony Award winner David Hyde Pierce (at PH in Richard Greenberg's The Maderati in 1987) and two-time Tony Award nominee, two-time Obie Award winner and 2012 Special Drama Desk Award winner Mary Testa (at PH in William Finn's In Trousers in 1979, Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty's Lucky Stiff in 1988, Tom Donaghy's From Above in 1998/Obie Award and Kathleen Tolan's The Wax in 2000).

Comix At Foxwoods Presents Mick Foley and His TALES FROM WRESTLING PAST National Tour, 3/23

On Sunday, March 23rd COMIX at Foxwoods Comedy Club in Mashantucket, CT welcomes WWE's Hardcore Legend, Mick Foley. His multi-faceted career has seen Foley turn from 3-time WWE champion to 2-time New York Times #1 best-selling author to his present incarnation as stand-up comic/spoken-word performer. Los Angeles Premiere of DERBY DAY to Open 2/22 at Elephant Theatre

The Los Angeles Premiere of the critically acclaimed DERBY DAY written and directed by Samuel Brett Williams opens Saturday, February 22nd at 8 PM. There will be two previews on February 20th and February 21st. at 8 PM. Former ABC Exec Mark H. Cohen Dies at Age 81

Longtime ABC executive Mark Cohen, retired executive vice president, ABC Broadcast Group and vice president, Capital Cities/ABC, Inc. died on December 31st 2013. Mr. Cohen was 81 years old.

St. Petersburg Opera to Present SUSANNAH

One of the most popular American operas, Susannah is the tale of an innocent Tennessee mountain girl who is accused of sinful behavior by the church-going elders of the town. Written in the 1950s the opera is surprisingly modern in its treatment of women's empowerment. Carlisle Floyd wrote this opera while a professor at Florida State University and our cast will feature a member of the original cast! Mr. Floyd will be in residence the week prior to the performances and events featuring him will be announced at a later date.
